Register for DOE-Sponsored Autonomous Discovery Workshop

Published: 5 March 2021

The application of artificial intelligence/machine learning methods to experimental and computational sciences is rapidly evolving and enabling autonomous and accelerated discovery. A three-day virtual workshop aims to bring together researchers in the field to discuss recent developments and share best practices.

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Center for Advanced Mathematics for Energy Research Applications (CAMERA), the Workshop on Autonomous Discovery in Science and Engineering is scheduled from April 20 to 22, 2021. All researchers, including students and other early career scientists, are welcome.

This workshop will include invited talks and moderated breakout sessions on new theoretical methods and current applications of autonomous discovery in addition to hands-on software tutorials.

The deadline for contributions is March 15. Registration—free for all participants—closes April 1.

For more information and to register, go to the workshop website.
