‘Tis the “MUD” season now. Yes, the term in its most fundamental form: water plus dirt. You see signs to this effect on many stores in town. Gives shivers up our spines as we race to finish the install, knowing that we are on a “slippery slope” of good weather. Most instruments are installed at the Valley site and working on radio links among the four sites now that we have power. Watching thunderstorms from the Thunderhead site is spine-tingling.
