NSFAEROSONDE

NSF-Sponsored Aerosonde Project

4 April 2001 - 22 April 2001

Lead Scientist: Rune Storvold

Observatory: NSA

The NSF-sponsored Aerosonde project held an IOP at Barrow April 4-22, 2001. The Aerosonde is a small, light robotic aircraft that serves as a programmable sensor platform. IOP results are available on the Aerosonde webpage. Aerosonde project personnel requested and received lodging during the IOP at the ARM duplex on a non-interference basis. An earlier Aerosonde IOP at the NSA was funded in part by ARM, which has a continuing interest in the developing capabilities of the Aerosonde.
