Vote Now for New ARM User Executive Committee Members

Published: 20 October 2020

It is time for you to elect your new representatives on the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) user facility’s User Executive Committee (UEC).

The UEC is the official voice of the user community in its interactions with ARM management.

Twenty-one users, representing a range of ARM science domains, are on the ballot this year for six open positions. New members will be chosen by popular vote by other ARM users, and their terms will begin January 1, 2021.

Learn about the candidates by reading their bios.

Representatives of ARM science domains serve four-year terms. In addition, the UEC will again include an early career representative, who may be associated with any of ARM’s science domains. This representative, who will serve a two-year term, must be currently pursuing a PhD or be an early career scientist within five years of obtaining a PhD as of January 1, 2021.

The election is the second in a two-part process to select new committee members. Nominations took place in August and September 2020.

The virtual ballot box will remain open until Friday, November 6, 2020. Please vote for one candidate under each science domain or position. You may only submit one ballot.
