Photo (left): Photographers await the perfect moment for
capturing the impending sunset. High cirrus and low cumulus hold
great promise. A few moments later the entire sea appeared deep
red/pink as it reflected the skylight.

Commentary:
Many measurements were made today by the sunphotometer zealots, between
intense periods of sunbathing and viewing flying fish. The crew is preparing
fishing tackle in anticipation of fish around the tropical atmospheric
ocean buoy. Last night's high-frequency communications were satisfactory
between Mirai and the Ron Brown and between the Ron Brown and Nauru, but
not between Nauru and Mirai.
