The ARM Science Team solicits funding by responding to a published announcement for proposals by the Office of Biological and Environmental Research (BER) of the Office of Science, U.S. Department of Energy. The announcement requests both new and renewal proposals that address the ARM Program's goal of improving the representation of cloud and radiation processes in climate models. The allocation of funds depends upon the number and quality of proposals received.
