The Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere-Coupled Ocean Atmosphere Response Experiment (TOGA-COARE) bulk algorithm version 2.5 was published in 1996. In this paper, we will provide an evaluation against a much larger data base. An improved fit and simplified algorithm will be given.
