Lecturer/Associate Professor in Clouds available at the University of Reading

The University of Reading is seeking a scientist to provide research and develop leadership in the science areas associated with clouds. This position will work within the Department of Meteorology to enhance existing activity in remote sensing of clouds, cloud physics, earth observations, and radar. This position will contribute to the University of Reading’s teaching program at the undergraduate, masters, and PhD level.

This post will be either at the associate professor or lecturer level, depending on the applicant. Expectations will be higher at the associate professor level, in terms of research outputs and international research leadership in the field. Candidates at lectureship level will be expected to complete the Academic Practice Programme, while those at associate professor level will be encourage to do so if they do not have a similar qualification.
