Calling All Data Archive Users

Published: 6 November 2015

DataArchiveYou will need to update your ARM data profile as soon as possibleĀ as part of new government reporting requirements.

Researchers access data collected through the routine operations and scientific field experiments of the ARM Facility through the ARM Data Archive.

An updated registration form requests information about the scientific project for which you are using ARM data. This information is a new requirement from the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science, which funds the ARM Facility.

A subset of the user registration information, including name, institution, and project titles will be publicly disseminated as part of an Office of Science user project database at the end of each fiscal year. By updating profiles with required information, the Office of Science will receive accurate user statistics, which helps demonstrate the value of facility usage for continued funding.

Maintain Access to Your Data
New data users and current users who registered with the Data Archive before October must update their profiles by November 16 to continue to receive access to data. Users will not have data access until the required information is submitted.

Current users: Login now to update your account.

New ARM Data Archive users: Go here to register.

For more information on the ARM Data Archive or the information that will be submitted to the Office of Science, contact Giri Palanisamy, ARM Data Services and Operations Manager.
