Help Us Help You; ARM Data Survey Available Now

Published: 22 February 2012

The Statistical Browser was the first example of a results-based user interface at the ARM Data Archive for a data collection on the scale of bytes, number of data files, number of measurement types, and longevity.
Update: We still need your feedback! This is your opportunity to share with us your experience using ARM data. Your feedback will help guide us as we begin to improve our data systems. The survey will remain open until Friday, March 23, so please take it now.

The ARM Data Archive stores more than 2000 types of datastreams and there are many ways to find and order the data. To help us understand how you interact with ARM data, please to take a few minutes and fill out the ARM Data User Satisfaction Survey.

The purpose of this survey is to obtain feedback from the ARM user community (you!) regarding your experience with ARM data discovery and quality. This feedback is important to improve the pathways for finding, ordering, and delivering ARM data, and improving the communication of data quality information.

You may recall that we provided a similar opportunity for feedback a few years ago regarding computing services for analyzing ARM data. As documented in this summary report, approximately 300 of you responded. This feedback provided critical information about the diversity of user needs and laid the foundation for a number of software tools that ARM is currently developing.

Thank you for your valuable input!

Don’t forget: If you are an ARM data user and did not receive an email invitation on Wednesday, February 22, to take the survey, please check your spam folder. Spam filters may have diverted the message from your inbox.

Also please note, after submitting your answers, you should be redirected to the ARM Home page. This will indicate your responses were successfully received because you won’t see a thank you for your submission page.
