IPY Oslo Science Conference – June 2010

The International Polar Year Oslo Science Conference (IPY-OSC) will be held June 8–12, 2010 in Oslo, Norway. The theme of this year’s conference is “Polar Science – Global Impact.” With over 2200 registered participants, this event promises to be the largest gathering of polar scientists ever held. Of particular interest to the ARM community will be presentations on:

  • Linkages between Polar Regions and global systems
  • Past, present, and future changes in Polar Regions
  • Polar ecosystems and biodiversity
  • New frontiers, data practices, and directions in polar research.
  • This year’s conference will emphasize and highlight the importance of interdisciplinary polar research efforts and their global impact.
