AOGS Meeting – August 2011

The 8th annual Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) General Meeting and Exhibition will be held at the Taipei International Convention Center, Taiwan, on August 8-12, 2011. The society’s mission is to promote geophysical science for the benefit of humanity in Asia and Oceania. In 2010, the meeting included over 1050 participants from 43 countries.
Members of the ARM community may be interested in attending sessions on the following topics: atmospheric science, hydrological science, ocean science, planetary science, solar and terrestrial science, or solid Earth science. Attendees may also participate in interdisciplinary working groups on such topics as: natural hazards, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes, non-linear geophysics, and polar research.
