Data Plots Available for the ARM Mobile Facility Deployment in the Azores

Published: 12 June 2009

Data plots, like this one, are now available from the ARM Mobile Facility deployment on Graciosa Island in the Azores.

The 20-month deployment of the ARM Mobile Facility on Graciosa Island in the Azores is well underway in support of the Clouds, Aerosol, and Precipitation in the Marine Boundary Layer field campaign. Data are being collected to study the seasonal life cycle of marine clouds and how they modulate the global climate system. These data are made publicly available through the ARM Data Archive as they are being collected. To see data plots from the Azores, go to the AMF Instruments – Graciosa Island, Azores, web page and look for “View Plots” for each instrument.

These data plots (and more) are freely available and readily accessible during the Archive data ordering process. The first time you visit the Archive you will need to create a new account—a relatively short form asking for contact information—you can use right away.
