Description
In support of CLASIC, radiosonde launches were provided during two 5-day campaigns with eight radiosonde launches per day at each of the BFs along with the routine 4 per day at the CF. The dates of the 5-day campaigns were based on weather forecasts relative to project objectives and therefore not be determined until the project began. Each BF launched 1 sounding per day at three of the BFs during the remaining 11 days of CLASIC, the northern BF, Hillsboro, being excluded.
